  I understand that It must be difficult to be a bulk-billing GP, but I definitely don’t believe I deserved to be overlooked or treated like I am just the time-slot in the doctor's day.

  Fully support jezhana's review. Have had to seek help from another practice now. Experienced exactly the same problems. Finally tried to deal with problems directly with doctor and still wasn't heard. Have never had an experience like this with any other medical practice.

  I have been going to the Sugarland Family Practice since I was little and I finally worked up enough resolution to find a different practice. I am not sure if it is because the doctors are just overworked or not very good, but they do not seem to care about patient problems and most times will rush you. I have seen 3 doctors so far within this practice and unfortunately they have not assisted with my health concerns whatsoever. In fact I often leave feeling more confused and scared about my health rather than re-assured and feeling like it is at least being investigated.

  Worst doctors experience I have ever had, was rushed out without having any of my concerns heard. I asked for a repeat, he said he had given me one, and infact had not. Additionally he asked my weight and when I replied he said 'no, I think bigger' and when I weighed in at that weight he voiced his surprise. The previous time I had seen that doctor he had spent 7mins of the 10 minute appointment on his mobile phone to someone debating a price on something. Ended up having to go to another practice to see someone about the issue that had been ignored.

  The most recent doctor under the practice (Dr Shakeel) seems to be focusing even more on getting through the appointment rather than actually listening to any concerns. Although she seems nice enough I have personally found her to be rude and condescending during appointments. In the time I have had with her she has told me that she doesn’t want to hear about my immediate concerns (such as the fact that I couldn’t move my arm and I wasn’t sure if my broken elbow had healed properly… or more recently that I am having difficulty breathing). Then in other appointments she has ignored what I said and then told me I wasn’t telling her what my problems were.

  If you are looking for a medical practice that actually wants to deal with your medical problems I do not recommend this place.

  Professional service and check up. Reception staff were helpful, booked me a return visit and sent me to the pathology service connected the their building. The doctor was courteous and treated a number of ailments. A well run practice, could not have been easier or more professional.

  Terrible experience with Dr Shakeel Ahmad. Did not help what so ever, sent me for a blood test without even asking medical history or looking at the issue, came back the same week for a follow up and his response was useless. The front counter staff are nice enough but I do not recommend that specific Dr - all he wanted was to be in and out in 2 minutes.
